Yamaha has launched the hybrid version of its scooter, the Fascino 125 FI in India. The Fascino 125 SI will be available in two variants — one will be the drum brake variant while the other is the disc brake variant. The disc brake variant will demand a premium of Rs 6,530 over the disc brake version and will be available at your nearest dealerships by the end of July 2021.
The Fascino 125 FI, is powered by a BS6 compliant, air-cooled, fuel injected 125cc motor that churns out an output of 8.2PS and 10.3Nm. The engine comes paired to a Smart Motor Generator (SMG) system, that gives an additional power to the Fascino while starting from standstill or on uphill rides. This combined power enables the rider to gain a power assist during these times, and avoid sudden wobbling insecurities at that moment. Also, a side stand engine cut off is available as standard with the Fascino 125 SI as well, which is a common feature in all Yamaha two wheelers nowadays. On the features front, the Fascino 125 SI disc brake version comes equipped with bluetooth enabled Yamaha motorcycle’s Connect X app, LED headlamps and taillamps, DRLs and digital instrument cluster.
The Fascino 125 SI disc brake version will be offered in Vivid Red Special, Matt Black Special, Cool Blue Metallic, Dark Matt Blue, Suave Copper, Yellow Cocktail, Cyan Blue, Vivid Red and Metallic Black colour schemes while the drum break version will miss out on certain colour options.
As for now, the Fascino 125 SI will be offered at a starting price of Rs 70,000 for the drum brake version while the disc brake version will be priced at Rs 76,530. All the prices are ex-showroom Delhi and will vary across the country.
