Porsche has unveiled the Cayenne Turbo GT, a more powerful version over the Cayenne Turbo. With increased peak outputs over the Cayenne Turbo, the GT variant is quicker and faster than the standard Turbo.
To start with what’s new with the Cayenne Turbo GT! Under the hood, the Cayenne Turbo GT retains the 4-litre bi-turbo V8 engine that now delivers 90PS and 80Nm over the standard Cayenne Turbo which makes the peak output figures to be 640hp and 850Nm. With this powerful and torquier engine, this powerful SUV can now clock a top speed of 300 kmph and can hit a ton in just 3.3 seconds.
On the outside, the luxury SUV is unlike any of its siblings. Cosmetic updates include a new lip spoiler with large vents, a reworked front bumper, a new carbon-fibre wing, a rear spoiler that is now 25mm wider that also adds a 40kg downforce. It also gets carbon fibre door mirror caps and a rear diffuser. Complimenting all of these are 22-inch wheels that are 10.5-inch wide for the front and 11.5-inch wide for the rear.
Inside the cabin, you get a new sports steering wheel retaining a Sports Response button as seen on its Porsche siblings as well. It also gets electronically adjustable sports seats, two seats for the rear, and seatbelts are finished in a gold or grey colour scheme. Overall, the Turbo GT gets Alcantara accents, and gets a PCM 6.0 communication system that is compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
While there is no news from Porsche about the launch of the Cayenne Turbo GT in India, but when it is launched, it will go against the likes of Audi RS Q8 and Lamborghini Urus that are currently the most-selling full-size premium performance SUV’s in India.
